ABOUT LLNC

The Language Learning Navigation Center (LLNC) was established in 2013 (the 102nd year of the Republic Era) and is located in Room J414 on the fourth floor of the Foreign Languages Building. The center provides specialized language navigation services led by a team of domestic and international mentors from the International Language Center. Beyond offering strategic learning advice, these mentors leverage their diverse global academic and professional backgrounds to guide students through the nuances of foreign language acquisition. The center’s framework is built around seven primary "Navigation Routes," focusing on consultation and guidance, supplemented by customized training courses and interactive activities, all aimed at the goal of sustainable learning. These seven routes include:Language Consultation Route, Oral Practice Route, Customized Course Supply Route, All-Member Competition Route, Digital Roaming Learning Route, Yeh-Learning (Outdoor/Immersive) Route. Students can reserve sessions on specific routes based on their individual learning progress and needs to accumulate personal "learning mileage." Starting from the 2025 academic year (114th academic year), LLNC has further integrated its services into the 4C Language Learning Support System: Consultation, Customization, Competition and Cyberlearning. This system incorporates modern educational concepts such as ESP (English for Specific Purposes), EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction), SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and AI to comprehensively enhance students' foreign language proficiency and learning outcomes.

Circular Fashion Becomes Popular in Taiwan

Circular fashion became popular in Taiwan. Many young people enjoy buying second-hand clothing because it is cheaper and unique. Some brands make new shirts and bags from recycled plastic bottles and other materials. Local markets and workshops teach people how to repair old clothes instead of throwing them away. Circular fashion is a new way to reduce waste and pollution in the environment. It shows that fashion can be stylish and sustainable at the same time. This idea is good for the planet and for future generations.
